A TINY STORY
On a spontaneous evening out one night, a stranger was celebrating a birthday. And I decided to fold a small piece of card and scribble out a birthday message for him. The unconventional gesture was warmly received, sparking a chain of interactions between our friends and his.
As the night unfolded, I decided to create more cards. No one else had a birthday so I thought of other things to write in the cards with questions like "eskimo kiss?", "hug?" or "eye gaze for one minute?". This fostered spontaneous connections beyond typical conversations. These small moments of connection and prompts to create positively charged actions were a catalyst for connections that may of otherwise not happened and for others to deepen their relationships with friends.
